Jessica Rowland
Areas of Practice
Mrs. Rowland began her legal career as a civil litigator, focused on highly technical consumer protection laws, including: the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Consumer Sales Practices Act (CSPA). She has represented clients in residential and commercial foreclosures, has defended clients against defamation, and has negotiated and facilitated the purchase of domains from third-party owners. Mrs. Rowland has additional experience in real estate law, including quiet title suits, mechanic’s liens, real estate breach of contract, real estate closings, and partition actions. Mrs. Rowland is licensed to practice in state and federal court, including both the Northern and Southern districts of Ohio.
Mrs. Rowland’s wide range of experience has allowed her to take a multi-faceted approach to domestic and family law matters. She advises clients on a broad range of family law issues including parenting time, child custody, spousal support, and child support. She prides herself on her ability to connect with her clients and recognizes that her clients are frequently going through one of the most emotionally taxing times of their lives. She strives to be both accessible and empathetic.
Mrs. Rowland’s passions include advocating for and volunteering for the special needs community, running, and spending time with her family.
